Cofense Creates New SOAR Platform That Lets IRs to Block Phishing Attacks Even Quicker

The prominent anti-phishing solution supplier Cofense has developed a new platform that finds and stops phishing attacks in progress even quicker. The Cofense Phishing-Specific Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platform is the first such platform to come to the marketplace that has been particularly developed to recognize and interrupt phishing attacks in progress.

Cofense had already developed its modern, multi-award winning Cofense Triage platform to assist occurrence responders to separate real phishing attacks from the noise in misused mailboxes. The solution eliminates caring messages that have been informed by workers as possibly malevolent through the Cofense Reporter electronic mail add-on, letting incident reaction groups focus on actual phishing dangers.

Cofense Triage incorporates with nearly two dozen safety solutions through the REST API to assist safety teams to provide an improved safety orchestration reaction. The solution also assists the use of playbooks – a set of standards often used in phishing attacks – which let phishing dangers to be automatically alleviated when the playbook conditions are met.

The new Phishing SOAR blends Cofense Triage with a new product – Cofense Vision. Cofense Vision enhances the phishing SOAR reaction capabilities of Cofense Triage saving incident reaction groups even more time.

When phishing attacks happen, they often contain several messages. Cofense Vision makes sure that quick action is taken to eliminate all malevolent messages from a company’s electronic mail system. Cofense Vision lets incident reaction groups to rapidly search, locate, and isolate all copies of a malevolent message across all of an organization’s inboxes. When an actual danger is noticed, it can be neutralized even quicker.

Phishing campaigns might also involve a few similar phishing electronic mails. Cofense Vision can be utilized to find all messages in a phishing campaign. Users can dig deep and question attachment names, attachment hashes, senders, message topics, dates, and other standards to easily find patterns and find phishing dangers. When all cases of a message are known, those messages can be separated with a single click.

General release of Cofense Vision is supposed in Q4, 2018.
