Ed Filippine Becomes CloudHealth Technologies’ Chief Revenue Officer

Ed Filippine has become a member of CloudHealth Technologies as its new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Ed joined the company from Carbon Black, where he spent five years working as its Executive Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Operations. Before joining Carbon Black, Ed occupied leadership positions at EMC Corporation, Acronis, and Vertica Systems, an HP Company. In his time at Carbon Black, Ed brought the company from double digit to triple digit expansion.

CloudHealth Technologies has recorded over 80% expansion for two successive years. Ed has been tasked with quickening income generation across the whole business and scaling the sales organization and strategy internationally. Ed will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

“I am excited Ed is joining the group. His experience of driving extremely successful income operations will be a substantial value-add as we enter the next phase of growth and continue to be laser concentrated on creating the best possible customer value and experience,” said Tom Axbey, President and Chief Executive Officer of CloudHealth Technologies.

The decision to become a member of CloudHealth Technologies was easy. “Not only is the business recognized for offering the industry’s most entrusted cloud management platform that is actually differentiated in the market, the administration team is world-class. I am delighted to be joining such an exceptional organization,” said Ed.

CloudHealth Technologies commands the market in cloud administration and cost optimization and is now assisting record numbers of midmarket and big company clients to administer their cloud resources more efficiently and improve productivity through a unified cloud plan based on united reporting, active policy administration, and strategic approvals. CloudHealth clients now include Sumo Logic, Suncorp, Cox Automotive, Amtrak and News Corp.

Ed Filippine is the third addition to the executive side at CloudHealth Technologies since September when Tom Axbey was hired as the company’s new president and CEO. Tom Axbey was joined by Greg Nicastro in January, who was hired as CloudHealth Technologies’ Chief Product Officer.
